Brett Long serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Taylor Capital, where he is responsible for overseeing key business functions, streamlining operations, and ensuring the efficient management of the firm’s commercial real estate assets. In addition to this role, Brett also holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Taylor & Morgan Asset Management.

Brett graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. Prior to joining Taylor Capital, he gained nearly seven years of experience as an investment advisor at a prominent regional financial institution, managing a diverse portfolio of clients with complex financial needs. His hands-on experience provided him with a strong foundation in wealth management and corporate real estate.

Brett holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). His areas of expertise include investment analysis, financial modeling, tax planning, financing, and retirement planning, allowing him to navigate a wide range of financial challenges with precision and insight.
